Accounting Associate

We are looking out for zealous and aspiring individuals who are keen on experiencing a diversified work culture in a growing international firm to support Forvis Mazars in Ireland. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Management accounting and reporting including control account reconciliation, variance analysis, analytical review and presentation of final results to management / Board of Directors.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards or FRS 102.
• Preparation, review and filing of VAT, VIES and Intrastat returns.
• Preparation of consolidation.
• Liaising with clients, Revenue Commissioner and other stakeholders.
• Assisting in coordination and management of financial audit process.
• Interim financial arrangements/secondments to clients.
• Ad hoc and continuous improvement of projects as they arise.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or part qualified ACCA/CPA Australia/ICAEW.
• Well versed in Microsoft Excel.
• Team player with good communication, interpersonal and client servicing skills.
• Meticulous and have attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Good command of the English language.
• Proficient with the use of collaboration tools, i.e., MS Teams, DocuSign, etc.
