ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the accounts team that covers a wide spectrum of finance functions; management and financial accounting, commercial, contract management, plant accounting, inventory control, credit control, capital spending.
• Manage and review the full set of accounts of 5 to 6 related companies.
• Prepare audit schedules for year-end audit and tax submission.
• Carry out monthly tasks including monthly profit and loss, including compilation & finalization of monthly accounts for monthly Finance Department meeting.
• Analyze company financial status and budget planning exercise periodically.
• Lead and supervise subordinates for continuous work improvement & efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Preferably someone with an Audit background.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is a MUST.
• Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 7 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• High integrity, excellent work ethics, and a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with a positive attitude.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Jalan Kapar.
