Prepare and maintain a full set of accounts in accordance to local accounting standards.
Responsible for all accounts receivable functions, including collection matters.
Responsible for all accounts payable functions, including staff reimbursement claims.
Check and prepare payments for payroll (including EPF, SOCSO, EIS & PCB calculations).
Prepare monthly operating expenses cashflow forecast to HQ.
Handle inter-company billings and transactions.
Perform month-end close activities, monthly bank reconciliation & reporting, strictly adhering to HQ reporting deadlines.
Prepare monthly financial reporting for compliance with regulatory authorities and update the audit schedule.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities (including all government permits and filings), respond to any queries and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Ensure up-to-date compliance on relevant government requirements affecting operations.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar qualification.
Professional certification (e.g. MIA, ACCA, etc.) is preferred.
At least 5 years of working experience in accounting and finance, with good knowledge of local accounting regulations & procedures and exposure to Local Financial Accounting Standards.
At least Intermediate proficient level of Microsoft Skills (including Excel).
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Experience with ERP accounting software will be an advantage.
