Your role and responsibilities

1. Provide accounting support to countries in the Asia Pacific region
2. Prepare local financial statements in accordance with local GAAP
3. Comply with the country's legal and statutory reporting requirements
4. Provide advice and counsel to management on US and country Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and guidelines
5. Perform self-inspection of work areas and implement measures to ensure compliance with IBM accounting and country practices and guidelines.
6. Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliation and journal booking for accurate bookkeeping
