Accountant (based in Subang Jaya)

Top Listed company is looking for an Accountant to be based in Subang Jaya.

They are one of the large conglomerates within Southeast Asia region. Now, they are looking for an exceptional individual to join their dynamic finance team as the Accountant, working closely with the senior business management team.

Your new role

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting & finance activities within the company.
• Manage financials to prevent cost overruns and ensure expenditures stay within budget.
• Prepare the Annual Business Plan and Budget, documenting all assumptions and basis for presentation to Management.
• Prepare and monitor project costing to maintain financial efficiency.
• Ensure healthy cash flow by managing timely invoicing and fee collection.
• Advise Management on any business transactions or ventures that may impact the company's financials.
• Collaborate with the Tax team on tax planning and regularly report status to Management.
• Review audit schedules and adjust outstanding items promptly to avoid potential audit issues.
• Ensure all accounts comply with financial reporting standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Must have chartered qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant accounting & finance experience, preferably with experience in external audit as well.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as JD Edwards, SAP, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (MFRS or IFRS).
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
