Position: Accountant/Assistant Accountant

Location: KL Trillion, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (on-site)

Job Description:

• Managing account receivables and collections
• Collect and analyze accounts' information, reconcile discrepancies
• Monitor cashflow requirements
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Prepare month-end closing
• Assist with financial audits
• Initiate communication among the various stakeholders for process improvements
• Ensure effectiveness of internal controls within all accounting processes
• Handle all statistical surveys from government agencies
• Prepare annual reports, liaise with auditors, tax agent, and SSM submissions
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with professional certification
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting
• Past audit experience is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge in IFRS Accounting Standards; Taxation Law, etc.
• Independent, diligent, analytical, and self-motivated
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous with an eye for details
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written) to handle clients internationally (e.g., Singapore/China)
