Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Accountant / Account Executive to join our team!

Job Responsibility

  1. Manage a full set of accounts, including AP & AR and perform month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing activities within the given timeline.
  2. Manage and oversee statutory financial reports in compliance with the Group’s accounting policies and procedures, applicable approved accounting standards, Bursa requirements and statutory requirements.
  3. Prepare financial statements based on financial records, such as balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
  4. Prepare tax computation, Sales & Service Tax (SST) submission and transfer pricing documentation.
  5. Prepare and provide financial information such as monthly reports, budget and cash flow projections, financial reports, and other related matters for management review upon request.
  6. Analysis of financial data, evaluation of business financial position and operating performance.
  7. Perform bank reconciliation and reconcile transactions with online payment service providers on a monthly basis.
  8. Monitor daily bank balances, cash flow, and prepare cash flow projections for the company.
  9. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, secretaries, bankers, and other relevant authorities.
  10. Maintain an updated fixed assets register and ensure proper tracking of fixed assets.
  11. Oversee daily finance operations, establish a strong control environment, and improve various processes.
  12. Ensure accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the accounting system.
  13. Identify, report, and resolve accounting-related operational issues, discrepancies, and abnormal transactions.
  14. Provide guidance, motivation and identify professional development opportunities for the finance team.
  15. Assist in ad-hoc assignments and other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirement

  1. At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in a related filed.
  2. Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent or Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA, ACCA, MICPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
  3. Experience from audit/tax background is highly desired.
  4. Working experience with property developer/construction company will be an added advantage.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office application will be preferred.
  6. Knowledge of ERP System is an added advantage.
  7. Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and minimum supervision; effective and efficient interpersonal skills coupled with good communication skills.
  8. Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  9. Strong verbal as well as written in multi-languages communication skills.
  10. Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
