Accountant

• Oversee the full range of finance department functions, including financial and management reporting for the Group.
• This includes overseeing treasury, accounting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and audit activities to support the achievement of the Group's overall corporate goals and vision.
• Ensure that all financial and accounting reports comply with Malaysian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as well as relevant regulations from tax authorities and the Central Bank of Malaysia.
• Review the Group's organizational structure to implement effective tax planning strategies and maximize savings.
• Prepare financial forecasts and cash flow projections for the Group. Design equity and debt funding strategies to raise capital for development projects and secure necessary banking facilities.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, bankers, property valuers, and other external partners. Coordinate efficiently with these stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of projects.
• Provide financial insights, proposals, recommendations, and other financial support to the Board of Directors to aid in decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement a succession plan to build a strong, people-oriented finance team, ensuring continuous growth and success of the organization's finance division.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification.
• Membership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial accounting, business finance, and a minimum of 2 years in auditing.
• Strong analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and business acumen.
• Detail-oriented, independent, with outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with group consolidation will be an advantage.
