Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for completion of month end, quarter end and annual financial close based on the closing calendar.
2. Prepare & review income statement, balance sheet, trial balance, general ledger reconciliation, aging report & other listing.
3. Perform financial analysis & provide comments for variances that exceed company threshold or unusual transactions.
4. Support Forecast and Budget activities. Input Forecast and Budget data in the system and ensure the accuracy of financial projections.
5. Balance Sheet Accounting: Prepare journal entries, CN, DN, receipts, verify supporting entries, reconciliation to creditors statement, perform bank reconciliation, inter-company and accounts reconciliations, fixed assets management & monitoring credit control and aged collection.
6. Responsible for CAPEX spending report, i.e. utilization, commitment and available budget.
7. Stock Reporting: Provide stock valuation analysis, prepare monthly slow-moving stock & responsible for year-end stock take exercise.
8. Treasury & Cash Management: Responsible for monthly cash flow forecast and cash flow management.
9. Prepare and review the EUR Forex Hedging and other treasury & cash management tasks.
10. Responsible for petty cash management.
11. Taxation: Responsible for SST and corporate tax computation / estimates preparation & submission.
12. Operational Efficiency: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial control processes and improve efficiencies through better utilization of automated systems.
13. Lead or participate in the project to improve the operational & financial effectiveness of the finance department and support business partners.
14. Ensure to CAPEX and OPEX transactions are recorded properly as per company guidelines.
15. Secures financial information by completing database backups and maintains financial security by following internal controls.
16. Manage confidential documents and a good filing system.
17. Statutory Compliance: Liaise with internal and external stakeholder to ensure timely preparation and submission of the local statutory reports to comply with Companies Act 2016, Income Tax Act and other relevant statutory requirements.

Job Specification:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting / Finance or any Professional certification (CPA / ACCA / similar).

Min 5 year(s) working experience or similar role is required for this position, preferably in Automotive industry.

Working knowledge & experience of SAP FICO system required.

Responsible, possess good working attitude, time management skill and can meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and well in execution.

Diplomatic & tactful problem solver.

Other requirements:

Candidate who is able to join in May will be an added advantage.

Willing to be based in Seksyen 28, Shah Alam, Selangor.
