Job Title: Accountant
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in bookkeeping, general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and proficiency in various accounting software. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and general accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
3. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
4. Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
5. Assist in financial audits and tax preparation.
6. Provide financial analysis and support to management as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Able to do full set accounts.
2. 3-5 years of proven experience as an Accountant.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
4. Solid understanding of accounting principles and general accounting practices.
5. Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or related field.
6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Proficiency in bookkeeping, general ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
