We are a group of companies in Singapore in various industries including Property Development, Construction, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Hostel Services: Commercial Cleaning Services, Investment, and many more. Our company is expanding in Malaysia and we are looking for an Assistant Accountant to support our business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full set of accounts, intercompany-reconciliation and audit schedules.
• Timely account closing for multiple entities in different industries under Shared Service.
• Project Budget Monitoring, forecast and support individual Business Unit/entities in finance-related matters.
• Perform company cash flow and treasury management.
• Prepare ECI, liaise with corporate tax agent and review tax computation prepared by tax agents.
• Assist in FP&A, variance reporting & commentaries.
• Management of Budget, Forecast/reforecast, variance reporting & commentaries
• Prepare management report and attend management meeting.
• Liaise with external auditors/tax agent and stakeholders for financial year closing & reporting.
• Liaise with the corporate secretary for secretarial matters, maintain proper filing of Annual Return/XBRLFiling and secretarial-related documents.
• Supervise a group of accounts staff.
• Prepare financial statement working and draft financial statement
• Other Ad Hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 8 years working experience with 2-3 years of experience in international audit firm/listed companies with consolidation experience preferred.
• Update & Advance knowledge in IFRS, SFRS & GAAP.
• Candidate with a growth mindset and eager to learn new skill sets.
• Must be self-motivating, capable of working independently, have initiative & a sense of urgency.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills and is able to work with people from different level.
• Prefer experience in Construction, Services, FMCG, High Technology R&D, manufacturing, and Trading in nature.
• Experience with SAP/Dynamics NAV will be an advantage.
