ACCOUNTANT

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at Anthosma Landscape Sdn Bhd. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounts and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to support key business decisions. This is a full-time role based in our office in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

• Issue invoices, preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Generating financial reports and statements, such as profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends and insights to support business planning and decision-making
• Ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and guidance
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance financial operations
• Assist in preparing for statutory audits and tax filings
• Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned
• Handle intercompany reconciliation and confirmation

What we're looking for

• Professional accounting qualification diploma in accountancy or related field with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and Reporting, including Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
• Proficient in the use of accounting SQL software and data analysis tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in the landscaping or construction industry would be an advantage
