About the role

DAMI STRATEGIES SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time, hybrid role where you'll work both in the office and remotely. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reporting.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
2. Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
3. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
4. Reconciling bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
5. Providing financial analysis and recommendations to support the company's decision-making process
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support
7. Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
2. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
