Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team at Master Green Turfing Contractor Sdn. Bhd. in our Batu Arang, Selangor office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for handling the company's financial accounting and reporting requirements.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
2. Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring proper recording of all financial transactions
3. Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations to management
4. Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
6. Providing support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments as needed

What we're looking for

1. A degree in Accounting or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the turfing or landscape industry
3. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
