ACCOUNT RECEIVEBLES OFFICER

About the role

Kwong Onn Tong Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Receivables Officer to join our team in Melaka. This full-time role is responsible for managing and overseeing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

What you'll be doing

1. Invoicing customers and following up on outstanding payments
2. Reconciling accounts receivable and maintaining detailed records
3. Analysing aged debt and identifying opportunities for collections
4. Collaborating with the finance team to resolve billing and payment issues
5. Preparing reports and presenting insights on the company's accounts receivable performance
6. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
7. Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
2. Strong organisational and time management skills
3. Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
7. Knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and regulations
