We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Account Manager to join our team in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing campaign strategies, optimizing account performance, and collaborating with SMB advertisers to enhance brand visibility and drive successful advertising campaigns. Your role will require you to effectively communicate with clients, understand their goals, and provide strategic recommendations to maximize their advertising success.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance, insights, and recommendations to help them achieve their advertising goals on Amazon.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Manage end-to-end advertising campaigns across various Amazon platforms (e.g., Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) to optimize performance and achieve campaign goals.
- Drive campaign optimization towards performance growth, retaining and growing ad spend, and up-selling. Leverage reports and analytics to enhance account performance and visibility.
- Provide detailed recommendations to managed accounts, including optimization opportunities and best practices.
- Encourage and guide advertisers in adopting various ad formats such as Sponsored Brands (SB), Sponsored Products (SP), and Sponsored Display (SD).
- Collaborate with advertisers to establish brand stores on Amazon and ensure periodic content refreshes for brand enhancement.
- Present strategies and coordinate with advertisers to deliver engaging brand experiences.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and changes to Amazon's advertising platform, continuously seeking opportunities for optimization and innovation.
- Close collaboration with client and cross-functional teams (Leadership, Growth, Tech Support, etc.) to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery by correct understanding of objectives and implementing them.
- Monitor and follow up on Account out of Balance, Proforma Invoice, and Release Order to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
What You Need For This Role
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing Amazon Advertising campaigns or other media channels.
- Knowledge of Amazon Advertising platform or Google Ads (Search Engine Marketing Platform), including Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video, Sponsored Display, and brand store management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Previous experience with ad sales is a big plus.
- Proficiency in using Amazon/Google/Meta Ads Advertising tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with financial management and reporting is a plus.
