Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Account Manager. You will be responsible for supporting various operational functions within the startup environment. This includes assisting with day-to-day tasks. The Account Manager will work closely with various teams within the startup, gaining exposure to different teams and gaining valuable work experience.

  2. You should be willing to challenge when appropriate and drive activity within the business areas.

What you’ll be doing

  1. The role of Account Manager offers an exciting opportunity to promote the use of Experian proprietary risk management solutions amongst business users.
  2. The role focuses on customer acquisition and exposes you to business owners and entrepreneurs across a wide range of industry sectors.
  3. Ample training and guidance will be given to hone your client engagement and selling skills.
  4. Resource allocation and effective communication with other departments.
  5. Work independently and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

More about you

  1. Candidates with 1 year of sales experience preferred – SME sales experience will be an added advantage.
  2. Extensive knowledge of operations. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, or a related financial institution is highly valuable.
  3. Proficiency in MS Excel and other essential software tools is considered an added advantage, assuming a baseline level of computer literacy.
  4. Experience in supervising a team of staff for goals set will be an added advantage.
  5. Highly self-motivated, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
