Account & HR Executive

Job Summary

SUSHIHAN - A Japanese Restaurant Brand with 5 outlets currently in Malaysia and expanding.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account & HR Executive to manage both accounting and human resource functions. This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking to support the company’s financial and people management operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

1. Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
2. Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations
3. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and cash flow projections
4. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
5. Support the external audit process and tax filing requirements

Human Resources

1. Assist in recruitment processes, including job posting, screening, and interview coordination
2. Prepare employee contracts, offer letters, and other HR documentation
3. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws
4. Coordinate staff onboarding, training, and performance appraisals
5. Handle statutory payments, payroll processing, leave applications, and employee benefits administration

Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and/or human resources
3. Proficient in accounting software AutoCount and Microsoft Office
4. Knowledge of Sabah Labour Laws and HR best practices
5. Strong organizational and communication skills
6. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
