REMS started as a group of tax professionals with wide and deep tax experience, gained from a collective 100 years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm. Since our inception, we have grown to become a one-stop business process service provider to support our Clients in financial, tax and administration processes whilst our Client focuses on their core activities. Our capabilities have grown to include the advising and / or implementation of best practices and proper policies, processes and procedures relating to tax, accounting, company secretarial and payroll administration functions within the business. Our Clients view us as part of their internal management team, whose role ranges from advising to ensuring the proper execution and compliance of the relevant statutory obligations to such matters.
Qualifications & experience
Candidates must possess at least SPM / STPM / LCCI / Diploma / Degree in Accounting / Finance with or without experience. Those candidates with experience will be an added advantage.
Pleasant personality, good team player, committed in work and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of SQL Accounting / Payroll will be added advantages.
Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good written and oral communications in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (We seek Mandarin-speaking candidates who are required to serve Mandarin-speaking clients).
Tasks & responsibilities
Financial data entry & record keeping for SME companies.
Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
Perform Account Receivable & Account Payable aging and reconciliation.
Determines value of depreciable assets.
To handle full set of accounts including SST reporting & SST return.
Liaise with clients on matters relating to accounting & SST.
Manage and resolve client issues in a timely manner with the guidance from superior.
Able to communicate with clients independently.
Liaise with auditors and perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors from time to time.
