Handling and monitoring Company accounts, including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation, month-end closing & statutory reporting.
Prepare and maintain accurate Financial Statements, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
Ensure monthly closing deadlines are met, prepare the balance sheet schedules & journals.
Prepare monthly presentations for management meetings.
Assist in cash flow monitoring and payment processes.
Bi-monthly submission of LMW to Kastam.
Attend information requests from tax agents and auditors for statutory legislative requirements.
Prepare documentation and reports for external audits & ensure compliance with audit requirements & resolve any audit queries.
Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Assist in preparing cash flow projections and relevant reports for management review.
Investigate discrepancies and work to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate records of transactions.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts. Track actual performance against budgeted targets and analyze variances.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant financial working experience in the related field.
Candidate should possess at least a Diploma, Degree, or Professional Certificate or equivalent.
Audit experience from accounting firms will be an added advantage.
Requisite Skills: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word, able to work well in a team, responsible, well-mannered, excellent time management skills.
