Job description

We seek a responsible Account Executive to handle basic accounting tasks in an organized and timely manner. You will work one-on-one on various tasks related to office management and communication.

Job Description:

  • Proactively manage and prepare financial & accounting reports of the site inclusive of cash flow, bank reconciliation, income & expenditure, balance sheet, and monthly/yearly budget.
  • Ensure billing on invoices is sent out timely to residents/owners.
  • Transfer collected sinking fund charges from the service charge account in accordance with procedures.
  • Prepare payments to service providers in accordance with procedures and ensure timely payment.
  • Generate, monitor, and support administration billing and collections, correspondence, quotation, delivery orders, supplier & principal purchase orders, invoices, and office & documents administrative tasks.
  • Prepare cash flow and income expense reports.
  • Prepare summary petty cash claims for reimbursement.
  • Be responsive and communicative in the Company’s or committee group via emails, WhatsApp, or any other related social application in work-related matters during weekdays and/or on weekends.
  • Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger monthly, as well as preparing reports.
  • Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
  • Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
  • Gather supporting documentation and perform recordkeeping.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
  • Perform any other assignments upon superior instruction.
  • Be a team player and assist superiors to smoothen the operational work.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Secretarial/Business Administration/Economics or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office software, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Good team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge and ability to work with the 'CSS' and/or 'Condo Master' System is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
