Account Executive - JV

To manage the Accounts of the JV companies in the Group including Financial Reporting, Treasury, Credit Control, and Taxation functions in an efficient and effective manner.

Processing

• Reviews payment documents and invoices to ensure correctness prior to submission to signatories.
• Verify petty cash payments prior to submission for FC’s approval.
• Reviews bank and other reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly / quarterly GST Returns.
• Reviews tax computations and liaises with BDO Tax.
• Maintain fixed assets register and update monthly depreciation to the system.
• Prepares Doubtful / Bad Debt provision reports monthly and updates the system.
• Coordinates stock counts and reports to Financial Controller on the results.

Monitoring

• Ensure accuracy of GL accounts, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet.
• Monitors JV companies’ banking operations and payments through electronic banking facility.
• Reviews the accuracy of JV’s subsidiary ledgers to GL accounts.
• Review monthly overdue reports and follow up with JV - General Manager on daily collection.

Reporting

• Prepares Monthly Financial Reports including Profit & Loss by Business Area and Balance Sheet.
• Prepares cash flow report.
• Prepare tax computation supporting as required by Tax Agent for tax submission.
