We are now looking for a driven Account Executive focusing on the Asia Pacific Market starting immediately.

Role
As an Account Executive focusing on the Asia Pacific Mid-Market, your main responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities and driving upselling efforts with existing customers. You will connect with hotel industry leaders through online meetings, roadshows, events, and conferences. In these interactions, you'll uncover customer challenges and showcase how Oaky’s solutions can provide significant value. Your goal will be to build and nurture strong relationships, helping customers unlock the full potential of Oaky’s offerings while growing our market presence in APAC, specifically with luxury hospitality groups and chains.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying new business opportunities: Researching, prospecting, and qualifying leads to find potential clients.
  • Conducting sales presentations and demos: Meeting with clients (online and in-person) to understand client needs and challenges.
  • Negotiating deals: Finalizing pricing, terms, and contracts.
  • Upselling and cross-selling: Identifying opportunities to sell additional features or products to existing clients.
  • Meeting sales targets: Achieving or exceeding quotas to contribute to Oaky's growth.
  • Attending industry events: Networking at events, roadshows, and conferences to generate leads and build relationships.
  • Collaborating with internal teams: Working with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

A successful Account Executive at Oaky has:

  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to clearly demonstrate the value of upselling, uncovering and understanding client needs and challenges.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: A successful Account Executive must excel in closing deals, handling objections, and negotiations.
  • Problem-Solving: A good Account Executive can think on their feet, address client pain points, and provide creative, value-driven solutions.
  • Time Management: A successful Account Executive needs to manage their time effectively to balance prospecting, follow-ups, client meetings, and administrative tasks.
  • Goal-Oriented Mindset: A strong focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
  • Resilience and Persistence: Being flexible and able to quickly adjust to changes in the market, client needs, or sales strategies is crucial for long-term success.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with sales tools like Salesforce and Gong helps to track your pipeline, manage clients, and work efficiently.
  • Language: Fluent English, an additional relevant language is appreciated.

Preferred: Malaysia or Thailand

Education and Experience

Required:

  • 3 years of SaaS sales experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • An existing network and knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Experience in the Hotel Tech world
