Job description & Responsibilities:

1. Manage all accounting transactions.
2. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
3. Ensure timely bank payments.
4. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
5. Audit financial transactions and documents.
6. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
7. Comply with financial policies and regulations.
8. Ensure the accuracy of financial documents and their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
9. Evaluate financial operations to recommend best practices, identify issues, strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently.
10. Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as required.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Finance and Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification.
2. At least 1-2 years’ experience.
3. Committed with a strong sense of responsibility to meet tight deadlines.
4. Team player, proactive, good attitude, able to work independently and efficiently.
5. Good command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
6. Demonstrate integrity, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
7. Candidates who have similar job functions and the potential to take up such responsibilities are also encouraged to apply.
8. Multitasker with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
9. Good understanding of Accounting Principles.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems.
11. A highly self-motivated individual with both strategic and hands-on approach.
