RIMBUN GROUP RESOURCES BERHAD – Kuching, Sarawak

The Account Executive plays an essential role in supporting the company’s account management and financial operations. Reporting to the Account Manager, this role involves handling day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate account records, and assisting in the preparation of reports. The Account Executive ensures that billing, invoicing, and payment processes run smoothly while maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Account Management team and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Administration & Support:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day client accounts and handling routine financial transactions.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all account-related documentation is properly maintained and recorded.
  • Handle any account-related queries from clients and escalate issues to the Account Manager as needed.

2. Billing & Invoicing:

  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients based on agreed schedules and terms.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date invoicing system for easy tracking and reference.
  • Assist in preparing regular account reports and financial summaries for internal review.
  • Help with monthly reconciliations, ensuring all client accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Identify discrepancies in account records and work with the Account Manager to resolve them promptly.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the Account Management team to ensure seamless communication.
  • Assist the Account Manager in identifying client needs and proposing solutions to enhance client satisfaction.

4. Compliance and Record Management:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all account transactions and client data.
  • Support audit processes by providing requested information and ensuring all records are easily accessible.

5. Collaboration and Team Support:

  • Work closely with the Account Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of financial processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and Legal, to address any cross-functional financial matters.
  • Provide support in special projects or tasks assigned by the Account Manager or senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an account management, finance, or accounting role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Autocount) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling financial data.
