Account Executive

We're seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Icom Square Management Sdn. Bhd. in Kuching, Sarawak. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our valued client relationships, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of accounting services. This is a full-time position that offers ample opportunities for professional growth and development within our thriving organization.

What you'll be doing

• Able to handle full set of accounts independently
• Preferably with tax compliance experience
• Preferably with Human Resource experience
• Prepare and process various accounting documents, including invoices, financial statements, and tax returns
• Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and streamline operations
• Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant accounting regulations, best practices, and industry developments
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding to their inquiries and addressing any concerns in a timely and efficient manner

What we're looking for

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or partial ACCA/ASCPA/CA qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a professional services environment
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Auto Count Accounting Software and SQL Accounting Software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Good communication skills, polite and good working attitude
• Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
