Account Executive

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operational matters of the accounts.
• Cash in and cash out checking for daily and weekly.
• Performing transaction key in and checking.
• Preparing documents for management account (Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, Management Account, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly closing of accounts.
• Monitor bank balance, cash flow position, and fund placement.
• Assist in any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.
• Answering queries and providing solutions.
• Execute direct tasks from superior.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and company secretary.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or other accounting-related fields.
• Minimum requirement of capability in reviewing Full Set of Accounting (Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, Management Account, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet); capable of working with Full Set of Accounting is also desired.
• Strong in double entry.
• 3-4 years of working experience.
• Familiar with Excel (Lookup Features), Word, PowerPoint, SQL, and relevant accounting systems (Autocount, UBS, etc.).
• Capable of working independently with little supervision.
• Good command of spoken & written English & Malay.
• Analytical, resourceful, organized, meticulous, responsible, with excellent problem-solving skills and committed to meeting tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and has an organized working attitude.
• Immediate availability preferred.
