Account Executive

• Handling daily accounting system entries and transactions
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, etc
• Assisting in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management
• Assisting with the preparation of e-invoicing, tax returns, and other regulatory filings
• Providing support to the account and finance team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or relevant accounting certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting and/or finance role, preferably in the trading and manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysian accounting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Proficient in using accounting software, such as AutoCount
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various departments
