Account Assistant / Account Executive

The accounts assistant plays an important role in ensuring the accounts are prepared and closed in a timely manner. Description of the job role and requirements are outlined below:

Responsibilities:

1. Able to handle full-set accounts
2. Responsible for daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, etc.
3. Prepare prepayment, accrual, and fixed asset listings.
4. Prepare Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) report for Directors
5. Assist in month-end and year-end closing reports
6. Perform various general accounting tasks, including but not limited to, data collection, analysis, reconciliation, etc.
7. Able to liaise with external auditor, tax agent, and corporate secretary as and when required.
8. Handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Managers / Directors.

Qualifications:

1. Possess a Diploma / Degree in Accountancy
2. At least 2 years experience in the related field
3. Working knowledge of MS Office and UBS system.
4. Experience with MilComp Accounting is an added advantage
5. Knowledge of income tax submission and payroll processing is an added advantage
6. Able to speak and write in Mandarin is a requirement to liaise with Management
