Account Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), GL Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliation.
• Maintain and organize accurate accounting records.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of local tax and statutory requirements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end account closing processes.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Provide commentary and analysis around the Company’s performance to the management team.
• Liaise and manage all internal and external auditors, ensuring that any audit issues are resolved within the specified timeline.
• Undertake and perform any other job functions as required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word & Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with SQL / Accounting software will be an added advantage.
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to work at Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
