About the role

VLEE RENOVATION & CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Account Assistant to join our team in Selangor. As an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and records of our rapidly growing construction company. This full-time position offers the opportunity to apply your accounting expertise within an exciting and dynamic industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Accurately processing and recording all daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
2. Reconciling bank statements and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records
3. Preparing monthly financial reports and statements for review by management
4. Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
5. Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of accounting policies and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounts or finance role, preferably within the construction industry
2. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
3. Proficiency in using accounting software, such as SQL
4. A keen eye for spotting discrepancies and a proactive approach to problem-solving
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
6. A relevant accounting qualification or equivalent, such as a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance
