Job description
Designation: Account Assistant
Salary: RM 7,500
Department: Finance and Administration
Reporting Head: The Head of Finance and Administration
Office Location: Batang Kali, Selangor.

Responsibilities:

  1. Claims: Chairman and company
    1. Check all the claim bills and other related documents
    2. Prepare the summary of claim and input the data into system
    3. Prepare the payment claim and filing the documents
  2. Invoice processing
    1. Check invoice details with delivery order/packing list, order confirmation purchase
    2. Input data into system for tracking and follow up
    3. Record details of invoice for payment processing
    4. Prepare and check monthly statement of account and do reconciliation if necessary
    5. Follow up overdue invoices from customer by email/telephone
  3. Payment processing
    1. Check for complete documents (invoice, DO/service report, purchase order and purchase requisition before processing the payment)
    2. Prepare payment voucher for approval of payment
    3. Input data into system for tracking and follow up
    4. Create online banking transactions after approval of payments
    5. Filing the related documents
  4. Inventories
    1. Monthly physical stock count
    2. Check data with daily production report
    3. Input the data into the system
    4. Prepare summary of monthly inventories
  5. Check and balancing for company accounts
    1. Daily check and track for incoming and outgoing transactions according to PO or specific accounts
    2. Monthly bank reconciliation
    3. Monthly report for all finance by categories
  6. Petty cash processing
    1. Prepare cash payment voucher
    2. Input data into system
    3. Check and track of incoming and outgoing transactions
  7. Support admin
    1. Daily submission of attendance
    2. Daily food ordering
    3. Utilities bills
    4. Renewal of license
  8. Monthly submission of manufacturing survey to Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia before 9th every month.
  9. Any ad-hoc assignment by HOD/ Management

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • At least 5 years (for Degree Holders) of relevant working experience in a Finance related position in a Manufacturing Industry is required for this position.
  • Meticulous in figures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with the team, superiors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multitask effectively.
  • Able to work independently, logically, and systematically with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in data collection, input, organization, review, and analysis.
  • Able to present information professionally and clearly.
