Account Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our dynamic team at Sabah Flour & Feed Mills Sdn Bhd in Labuan. As an Account Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall accounting operations of the company. What you'll be doing

• Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, payments, and other accounting documents
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of accounting information
• Provide support in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient handling of accounting tasks
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting or clerical role
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in SAP system is added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to financial regulations
