Job description

1. To assist in general accounting duties such as:

  1. Update daily AR transaction & implement good credit control on all account receivable.
  2. Preparing payment vouchers, filing, claims checking and other financial duties.
  3. Mail & WhatsApp message checking with prompt response accordingly.

2. Providing support for the reconciliation of account receivable.

3. Generate monthly ageing reports & statement of account.

4. Follow up annual renewal matters for vehicles & property.

5. Executing administrative tasks such as emailing, answering calls, filing, etc.

6. To liaise with forwarder for shipment booking & container delivery.

7. To update superior for shipment schedule.

8. Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as may be required by the management.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in accounting or professional qualification or related qualification.
  • Must be at least 2 years of experience in the related field.
  • Fast learner, pro-active, self-driven and self-motivated.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems - Autocount.
