Account Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Assistant to join our growing team at M TELECOMMUNICATIONS SDN. BHD. in our Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur office. This full-time role will provide critical support to our Accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
2. Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
3. Provide administrative support to the Account Executive, including data entry and filing
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather and provide financial information
5. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
6. Assist Account Executive with other ad-hoc tasks

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting assistant role. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
2. At least a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
3. Strong proficiency in using accounting software, such as SQL
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
6. Ability to work as a team
7. Able to communicate in Mandarin and English
