Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of vouchers, invoices, payments, etc.
  • Preparing invoices and following up for pending payments.
  • Handling all banking related works.
  • Communicating with clients and vendors through phone calls or email.
  • Preparing profit and loss statements.
  • Making payments through various modes like online transfer, cash, cheques, etc and keeping track of them.
  • Finalizing accounts, assisting in audits, maintaining ledger, maintaining account of fixed assets, and conducting all other accounting activities.
  • Handling and filling SST related.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
  • Other ad hoc duties/ tasks/ projects as assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Good analytical and organizing skills with strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin (optional).
  • Years of experience: 2 - 3 years
  • Proficient in managing accounting software.
  • Knowledge of accounting and taxation laws and keeping abreast of the changes.
  • Excellent record-keeping and accounting skills with high ethics.
  • Good team player, independent, meticulous, self-motivated, and able to work with tight deadlines.
