Account Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our dynamic team at Capital City Property Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing crucial accounting support to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.

What you'll be doing

• Perform general accounting duties such as data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable management
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve accounting-related queries
• Provide administrative support to the Accounting department as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role, preferably in the property or real estate industry
• Strong proficiency in accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and external parties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
