Account and HR Assistant (Non Halal Restaurant)

About the role

Rhine River Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Account and HR Assistant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting and human resources functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business.

What you'll be doing

  • Process supplier invoices and prepare payments.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and managing petty cash.
  • Assist monthly management reports and audit schedules.
  • Assist in preparing documents for annual audit.
  • Providing administrative support to the HR team, including processing employee onboarding and payroll.
  • Coordinating and organising employee-related events and activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and HR policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and procedures is desirable but not essential.
