Accelerated Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Programme

We are pleased to invite applications with CAAM Basic Aircraft Maintenance License who aspire to become a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Accelerated License Aircraft Engineer Programme (ALP). The ALP is designed for individuals with a basic aircraft maintenance license by CAA Malaysia. This programme aims to fast-track their transition to become a licensed aircraft engineer.

Description of Accelerated Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Programme

1. Selected candidates will undergo a 15-month full-time conversion programme consisting of Aircraft Type Training, a minimum of 6 months Schedule of Experience (SOE), and 6 months additional On Job Training.
2. The candidate will be required to pass all internal assessments by Base Maintenance Malaysia during the programme.
3. The candidate needs to collect a minimum of 6 months Schedule of Experience (SOE) within the program period prior to his/her type ratings inclusion application. During the SOE collection, all the designated tasks within the logbook must be completed.
4. The candidate will need to pass the Quality licensing/authorisation interview for the attainment of the CAAM CAT B Licence and Company Authorisation.
5. The candidate who does not pass the programme during this period will be released from the programme. Any requests for extension will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
6. The candidate will be bonded for the duration of the training programme for 5 years upon establishment as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Candidates who resign or are terminated during the bond period will be liable for the cost of training incurred on a prorated basis.
7. The candidate will be deployed to operation department/divisions where their newly acquired skills can be optimised. Their working hours and shift roster will also be in accordance with the shift patterns of that specific department/division.
8. Final establishment as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will be subject to vacancies and performance assessment during the training programme.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidate with at least 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance is preferred.
2. Candidate must hold CAAM Basic Aircraft Maintenance License.
3. Candidate will be required to take and pass Aptitude Test to join the programme.
