About the job (A) Sales Promoter cum Merchandiser

Key Roles

The key responsibility of the Product Specialist/Sales Demonstrator is to serve customers by promoting and selling the company's products; meeting customer needs. The various tasks that you are required to perform contribute to the profitability and growth of the company.

This role reports to the BDM/Sales Personnel assigned to you who is overseeing the store you are posted to.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that stores and shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
2. Display, arrange, price, and rotate products in store.
3. Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products.
4. Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake.
5. Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers.
6. Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data.
7. Provide excellent customer and sales service in a retail environment.
8. Identify and attend to customers' needs and enquiries on our products.
9. Demonstrate/promote, provide information, and sell our products.
10. Create a positive image and lead consumers to use/purchase it.
11. Set up and arrange displays and demonstration areas to attract the attention of prospective customers.
12. Update and provide information and feedback to the Sales & Marketing team on sales and status.
13. Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. 1 year similar work experience as promoter/merchandiser.
2. Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities.
3. Well-groomed, pleasant, and cheerful personality.
4. Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well.
5. A team player who is proactive and highly motivated.
6. Required to travel to different outlets (valid driver's license may be required).

Working hours:

Friday to Sunday (10am-10pm, 2 hrs break for lunch & dinner).

Salary range: RM 1800 basic + RM500 transport allowance. Uniform provided.
