DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead the full spectrum of HR functions such as People Management, Performance Management, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Employee/Industrial Relations, Training and Development, Manpower Planning, and Payroll.
  2. Develop, review, maintain and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligning with the overall business strategy.
  3. Handle industrial relations matters relating to staff discipline, grievances and counselling, domestic inquiries, employee welfare, and other activities when required.
  4. Ensure that all policies and procedures comply with the legislative requirements in the area of responsibility and include best practices where possible.
  5. Determine recruitment strategies, apply recruitment methods, and manage the whole recruitment process.
  6. Determine training needs, develop training plans, and monitor training programs and records.
  7. Payroll administration, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and disbursed to employees in a timely manner.
  8. Manage HR projects, coordinating with HR personnel from US/SG/CN/VN sites on HR-related matters.
  9. Responsible for HR audits.
  10. Timely submission of various HR reports and manpower/payroll forecasts.
  11. Manage expatriate/foreign workers applications and relevant employment passes.
  12. Authorize salary negotiations and job offers to candidates, including signing job offer letters and employment confirmation/extension letters.
  13. Perform other ad-hoc tasks/projects as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or related fields.
  2. At least 10 years of relevant working experience, with 5 years in a managerial position.
  3. Attention to detail, good leadership & interpersonal communication skills, able to interact with all levels of people.
  4. Approachable and supportive to employees whilst remaining focused on tasks and deliverables.
  5. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  6. A good team player with a high level of integrity and dedication.
  7. Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
  8. Well-versed in the Employment Act & Industrial Relations Act, EPF, SOCSO, and Income Tax Act.
  9. Experience in the manufacturing industry.
