Working jointly with the experienced Mechanical/ Process/ E & I/ Piping Engineers and project team leaders, to provide competent piping engineering/ stress analysis / 3D Modeling expertise for contract execution and proposal preparation of the Company's contracting business. To function as a member of a team, and at often times, in individual assignments.

Job Summary

• To generate, maintain and keep updated with the latest developments and standards the plant 3D modeling database and catalogues.
• Lead, guide and work in coordination with other 3D draughts men/women to generate plant 3D models for the various project teams.
• To coordinate with project team leaders to organise internal and external plant 3D model review. To operate and manipulate Naviswork Freedom and/or Autodesk Plant 3D Suite software during plant 3D model reviews.
• To provide competent technical feedback & advice related to plant 3D modelling to piping committee.
• Prepare manual and/or computer-aided drawings, such as PFD, PID, Arrangement Layout, Anchorage and Foundation, Vessel and Equipment Guide, Piping Isometrics, Plant 3D, and all necessary drawings, for proposal work and all projects, per specifications provided by the Engineering and Sales & Marketing teams.
• Ensure all drawings follow set drafting standards, numbering all drawings in accordance to set standards and maintain a record of the drawings before filing.
• Responsible to check all drawings for completeness and to rectify errors before submission to the team members for approval.
• Submit and collect printed drawings from external printers; fold drawings before despatching to the clients and contractors. Compile drawings into operations manuals when and where required.
• Responsible for good housekeeping and maintenance of the AutoCAD hardware and software. Protect all hardware and software under one's supervision and utilization from misuse, corruption or disclosure to third parties.
• Ensure sufficient drawing equipment and tools to meet drawing demand. Inform the CAD team leader or the Administration Executive for replenishment when stocks are low.
• Ensure regular backup of drawings for safekeeping.
• Responsible to comply with the Group’s Environment, Health and safety (EHS) policies and safe work procedures.
• Undertake any other tasks as and when assigned.

Qualification

• 2 years experience drafting engineering drawings in Plant Layout drawing, Equipment Arrangement / Foundation and Anchorage drawings, Equipment / Vessel Assembly and detailing, P & I Diagram, Piping Assembly and Isometric drawings, As-built drawings, using the latest AutoCAD Software.
• In-depth familiarity on relevant Drafting Standards.
• Minimum 5 years experience in plant 3D modeling (includes piping planning & routing design and, using Autodesk Plant Design Ultimate Suite software or other similar software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge and competent in generating, maintaining, and updating the plant 3D database and catalogues.
