2D Artist (Junior to Intermediate Level)

A 2D artist should be resourceful and able to translate ideas, create vision, and conceive designs to meet qualities and requirements. The main role of the 2D artist is to illustrate, design, conceptualize, clean up, and copy regarding any arrangement, size, type size, and style of projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Contributes effectively to a team-oriented environment.
• The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
• Manage multiple project tasks and functions.
• Continually refines artistic abilities and knowledge of new software packages and in-house tools.
• Works efficiently and effectively within technical constraints of a production while generating high-quality artwork.
• Ability to visualize and conceive objects or other elements in a way that contributes to the overall visual quality of the production.
• Communicates regularly with Project Art Lead regarding the status of current tasks.
• Obtains Project Art Lead’s guidance and approval as required to advance tasks, project initiatives, and milestones.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related tasks as assigned.

• Have at least 1 year professional experience as a concept artist and/or illustrator. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Have a solid foundation in colors, perspective, lighting, and rendering.
• Have a vast imagination and the ability to visualize and interpret ideas and artworks.
• Able to design or follow required style guides.
• Passion for games, animation, and design.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software – Adobe products.
• Additional skills: Autodesk Maya, Blender, or Unity3D.
• Demonstrate strong software skills and always keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media.
• Able to commit to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
• A good and fun team player who loves teamwork.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to change or alter direction according to changes.
