[2-YEAR CONTRACT] Manager, Strategic Data Analytics Project Team

Position: [2-Year Contract] Manager, Strategic Data Analytics Project Team | Jabatan Mata Wang

ROLE PURPOSE

To design and establish a comprehensive framework to manage currency related data, leveraging on data analytics and reporting tools (that are scalable and user friendly) to drive strategic and data-driven insights. This involves overseeing data collection, as well as reviewing and enhancing data management processes to ensure effective long-term management of data and reporting.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Conduct a holistic review of the currency ecosystem data set and identify gaps and areas of improvement to measure the impact of recent policy development and changes. This includes evaluating existing data management processes and recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Develop and oversee the design and implementation of data collection framework to ensure accuracy, reliability and relevance to facilitate effective currency operations, regulation and surveillance. The framework should be scalable and able to support future strategic goals.
3. Develop appropriate tools and/or platforms to support data management, advanced data analytics and reporting.
4. Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, measure impact and generate actionable insights for policy and operational currency improvements.
5. Regularly engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and feasibility of data to be managed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Academic Qualifications: Degree or professional qualifications in data science, banking and finance, accounting, economics or any related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in data analytics, risk management and/or economics
