Reports to: Services VP, Americas

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)

This position is responsible for managing the offshore delivery center in India, providing project delivery services to customers in collaboration with regional delivery centers.

AVEVA Software is looking for a competent leader to manage a team of 30+ highly competent Project Managers, Engineering Managers, Solution Architects, Lead Engineers, and Application Consultants. This role will require working in AVEVA Americas Services leadership team and enabling seamless large/distributed solution deliveries across the Americas region. The key goals for this role are:

Apart from project delivery expectations, the role is also expected to participate in strategic business initiatives and help overall as a business enabler. Critical attributes of this role are:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proven leadership skills, and a deep understanding of process industry and enterprise solution delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management of the Shared Delivery Center in North America (Mexico, USA, and Canada), including strategic planning, growth, account management, and delivery of projects.
  • Accountable for the overall success of projects and customer satisfaction, with key metrics including Project Margins, Revenue, Schedule, Quality, and Utilization.
  • Direct management of all resources required to deliver products and projects to customers.
  • Leading, coaching, mentoring, and enabling managers within the Department.
  • Manage & maintain a customer-focused organization through an unmatched Domain, Product, and Application Culture throughout delivery of customer-focused projects.
  • Drive the organization towards best-in-class service delivery through continuous improvement.
  • Be the focal point for any risk escalation.
  • Financial reporting of parameters related to this business, delivering high value with improved Gross Margins.
  • Establish team growth strategies based on projections and work with leadership to maintain balance for business continuity.
  • Support across sales and technical sales organization through sales pursuits and act as a sales enabler function.
  • Oversee/ensure the quality of delivery projects and provide out-of-the-box ideas to develop tools/applications to optimize delivery cycle.
  • Create, document, and implement detailed procedures to improve productivity and quality of deliveries.
  • Manage key issues with customers in support of the department managers, providing solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Field, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible experience with handling teams.
  • Experience in delivering customer solutions involving enterprise applications with more than three products.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and coming up with a vision and mission for the growth of large teams.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, Project.
