Research Professor at the Institute for Obesity Research (IOR)
The Institute for Obesity Research was established to generate forefront knowledge through scientific rigor and analysis, developing ideas and innovative solutions to the problem of obesity through inter- and trans-disciplinary work and creating scientific-technological companies to improve the health and well-being of people and society.
The IOR presents an exciting opportunity for faculty to develop and lead research activities to prevent and treat obesity and metabolic diseases in Mexican and Latin American populations within Tecnologico de Monterrey and beyond.
We are comprised by five research units: Healthy Foods Bioengineering and Medical Devices Integrative Biology Experimental Medicine and Advanced Therapies Public Policy.
The Institute for Obesity Research invites ambitious researchers of all seniorities to apply for faculty positions for all units to develop world-class interdisciplinary research at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

About IOR
As part of its 2030 Vision, Tecnologico de Monterrey established the Institute for Obesity Research, with particular emphasis on Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. Researchers in IOR work in different facilities and campuses within Tec de Monterrey System, which provides a platform for interdisciplinary research and access to research labs and diverse populations among Mexican States. Graduate students, postdocs, and PIs use the laboratory and research facilities across campuses, including genomics, metabolomics labs, animal facilities, experimental fields and greenhouses, computational resources, etc.
