Process/Manufufacturing Engineerg Engineer

MISSION

1. To lead the industrialization of the new P1.
2. To improve production efficiency (machine & Direct Labor) in its perimeter.
3. Capitalize and share the know-how of industrial processes in his domain.
4. To participate in the design of new equipment and new lines.
5. To lead Lean design workshops.

Industrialization

1. To manage production equipment introduction using IPROM.
2. To follow equipment or assembly lines development with suppliers.
3. To design small tools and validate the supplier proposal.
4. To define the acceptance criteria for new equipment or lines.
5. To perform pre-acceptance and acceptance of the equipment.
6. To perform trials on the lines and deliver reports.
7. To build action plans and follow up to be ready for FDPR.
8. To perform and/or collect capabilities of equipments and processes.
9. To set up equipment and propose PROCESS VALIDATION PLAN.
10. To participate in PFMEA and CONTROL PLAN.

Mass Production

1. To monitor QCDM and propose improvements.
2. To survey the performance of equipments, always with optimization in mind.
3. To work on cycle time reduction to optimize investments, material & labor costs.
4. To update routing on the Information system with SPV validation.
5. To support production technicians (training, analysis, problem solving).
6. To be in contact with suppliers (improvement, support).
7. To participate in SPV workshops.
8. To participate in APU QRQC.

Standardization

1. Validate PG RAISE and CdC standards which are created by Standard Owners.
2. Validate any change of standard proposed by sites.
3. To know, apply and promote the standards (PG, sites, or corporate) in his domain.
4. To apply the SPV rules.

Environment

1. Ensure the respect of Safety and Environment procedures of Valeo Group.
2. Maintain the 5S and report issues.
3. Alert for safety rules infringement.
