About the role:
Medical Departures’ Sales agents are responsible for helping patients book their dental appointments at our global clinics via www.dentaldepartures.com. Work duties are carried out remotely in the coordinator's home or workspace. Sales agents (Patient coordinators) are available via phone, WhatsApp, live chat, social media, and email to assist Dental Departure patients with every aspect of planning and coordinating their global dental care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Convert phone calls, chats, emails, and other communication channels from leads into dental & medical bookings at dental/medical clinics.
- Coordinate appointment bookings between dental providers and patients in English and/or any other languages.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and coverage on all front lines (phone/chat/live chat/social media).
- Recommend promotions that can help patients save money on their medical or dental treatment.
- Follow the suggested script provided to all Inside Sales Representatives in the Best Practice System (BPS) documentation and training.
- Maintain 100% front-line availability/coverage on phones, chat, email, WhatsApp for mornings, days, nights, and weekends assigned per the Sales roster.
- Collaborate with other Jr & Sr. inside sales team members to achieve company sales goals.
- Meet and beat the sales quota (revenue, estimated gross booking value - EGBV), cancellation/no show rates, invoice rates established per month; if sales quota is not met the contractor will be coached for improvement, if no improvement sales leads reduced and/or removed, and if no material improvement seen - contract terminated.
- Spend 40% on the front line and 60% on prospect/patient follow-up.
- Ensure material call/WhatsApp follow-up with each patient (pre|post-VIP) with a +95% compliance rate to assure appointment attendance and sales targets.
- Daily tracking and monitoring of Sales funnel, conversions, and projections.
- Proactively identify systemic issues that need to be resolved to prevent future customer concerns.
- Respond swiftly and courteously to customer inquiries or complaints.
- Upgrade patients by recommending higher-value dental or medical treatments.
- Capture prospect & patient information, including email addresses, phone numbers, desired healthcare destination & medical/dental procedures in Zoho CRM tool with a +95% accuracy for tags/notes/follow-up tasks.
- Adjust sales presentation based on success/fail averages.
- Coordinate with other departments (Sales managers, Marketing department, Content Department, Supply department).
- Record details of inquiries, comments, and complaints.
- Log and track all leads through our CRM (Zoho).
- Respond to all leads (email, phone, LiveChat, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, TikTok etc.) within the agreed SLA.
- Build a strong sales pipeline by following up on cold leads and referrals for future bookings.
- Work within the agreed schedule. (Available to work on weekends if required).
- Attend training and coaching sessions as required.

- Attend regular team meetings.
- Weekend availability, according to shift schedule (5 days on, 2 days off).
- Early/late availability, according to shift schedule.
- Communicate with team members via phone, web conference, and e-mail.
- Prevent unsound or unethical business practices.
- Submit timely expense reports for reimbursements and complete other tasks and reports in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Support the achievement of the Medical Departures Inc.’s sales and revenue objectives.
- Help build the world’s largest global medical marketplace.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years Sales experience.
- 2+ years Cold calling experience (Outbound call is a must).
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) *need-2-have*
- Ability to handle high volume of email, phone, chat, social media traffic simultaneously (leads & prospects).
- Experience meeting or beating sales targets.
- Proven experience being in the ‘top tier’ of sales performance at your previous employers.
- Fluent in Spanish/German/French/Arabic (verbal and written) *nice-2-have*
- Extensive technical experience with: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams Chat) or Google Business suite (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Docs, Drive), CRM (Zoho, Zendesk, Salesforce, SugarCRM, Freshworks), phones (Twilio, RingCentral, Dialpad, CallTrackingMetrics, Tollfreeforwarding), chat (LiveChat, Olark).
- Familiarity & knowledge of dental or medical procedures *nice-2-have*
- Excellent listening and writing skills.
- Typing ability of > 40+ WPM.
- Travel savvy - international travel experience *nice-2-have*
- Experience tracking and maintaining a sales funnel through CRM (Zoho) and other tools.
- Ability to work responsibly and productively from a remote home-office environment with good time management.
