Quality Control Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join {company}. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured goods meet industry standards and required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor production lines and resolve quality-related issues
2. Operate and monitor water treatment units and waste water treatment units
3. Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards
4. Perform tests to ensure package and product quality
5. Follow process guidelines and expedite quality concerns to direct manager
6. Work with production, maintenance & warehouses as necessary
7. Maintain daily records of tests performed and results, as well as monthly/weekly/daily recording of quality KPIs and activities

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years experience in a quality-related position, preferably in the same field
2. Experience with bottled water, gallon water, vinegar & tomato paste industries
3. Familiarity with SIDEL, KRONES, BARDI & Tetra Pak production lines
4. Experience with audit compliance / reverse osmosis water treatment systems / food safety
5. Acceptable written and spoken English
6. Ability to create and provide accurate and detailed reports

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Science / Chemistry, or similar field.
