Engine Noise Suppression Facility Electrician I Level

TASK DESCRIPTION: The Engine Noise Suppression Facility Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at the engine run facility at AAJB in Kuwait. Reports directly to the I-Level Power Plants Lead.

TASK REQUIREMENTS:

• Establish scheduled maintenance cycle for the Engine Noise Suppression Facility in accordance with the KAMP.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the facility as required.
• Perform replacement on diagnosed faulty electrical elements of machines including motors, relays, switches, fire control panels, and facility fuel systems.
• Perform diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units.
• Perform diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and fuel system components.
• Assist the Engine Noise Suppression Facility (Hush House) Operator/Maintainer in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues with the Engine Noise Suppression Facility.
• Record all maintenance actions on the Engine Noise Suppression Facility in GOLD ESP.
• Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling maintenance.
• Assist the Engine Noise Suppression Facility Subcontractor with annual inspections and unscheduled maintenance as required.

MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of four (4) years experience as a Facilities Electrician is required.
• Journeyman Electrician or higher or Military equivalent.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of outstanding troubleshooting and technical aptitude.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot systems via schematic and electrical diagrams/illustrations.
• Knowledge of electrical hangar doors and louvers is highly desired.
• No security clearance required.
